Alexi Weemaes is a dynamic individual hailing from Luxembourg, with a multicultural background rooted in Belgian heritage. Fluent in five languages, her upbringing has imbued her with a rich linguistic prowess. Her passion for exploration is matched only by her boundless creativity.
Having obtained her bachelor’s degree graphic design from Sint Lucas, Alexi went on to pursue a master's degree in autonomous visual art, further honing her skills and knowledge in the field. Her work reflects a keen appreciation for clean typography and innovative design concepts.
Alexi possesses a distinct ability to translate her personal emotions into abstract visual narratives, employing unique combinations of imagery and characteristic fonts to convey her message effectively.
In addition to her extensive internship experience, Alexi gained
six months of professional experience in 2025 as a Graphic
Designer at
R2 Design
in Porto through an Erasmus+ (After Graduation Learning
Agreement) program.
Her work ranged from designing logos and developing signage
systems to participating in meetings with renowned architects
Souto de Moura and Siza. Alexi also worked as a photographer on
construction sites, in factories, and on university campuses,
capturing both photo and video material. This content was later
used in publications, videos and social media to effectively
meet the client's needs and expectations.
